Qualifications & Prerequisites:
Graduation from a recognized Nursing School.
Possession of a current and valid state nursing license.
Active CPR certification is required.
Knowledge of state-specific laws and regulations relevant to nursing practice is essential.
Completion of initial and ongoing clinical competencies as mandated by the role.
A comprehensive background check, security clearance, and drug screening are prerequisites for this position.

As a Registered Nurse (RN) with YesCare, your duties will include:
Providing immediate care for medical emergencies within the facility, including the ability to perform continuous CPR until relieved.
Administering and documenting medications accurately on the Medication Administration Record. Recording all nursing care provided.
Conducting health assessments and physical examinations on inmates. Evaluating patient health status and referring to the appropriate healthcare provider. Assisting Physicians during patient examinations and treatments. Implementing and following up on verbal and written orders from Physicians/Dentists.
Educating patients and correctional staff on healthcare topics.
Collecting samples, specimens, and cultures as per Physician orders.
Adhering to safety and security protocols and participating in emergency drills. Following security regulations concerning keys, sharps, and controlled substances. Maintaining Universal Precautions and other relevant infection control measures.
Performing venipuncture and intravenous therapy.
Utilizing personal protective equipment as required.
Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
