Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Drafting: Create detailed design layouts and drawings, modify existing designs, and resolve design discrepancies to ensure accurate product definition.
  • CAD Assembly Management: Design and manage large CAD assemblies and associated drawings, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
  • Product Development: Apply relevant company and industry techniques to plan, lay out, and maintain data depicting engineering designs, including detail, assembly, and installation drawings.
  • Manufacturing and Testing: Develop fundamental knowledge of mechanical engineering design, analysis, manufacturing, and testing to ensure products meet quality and performance standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Self-prioritize and self-schedule work activity in support of the team, assisting in the development and deployment of reasonable standards for drafting and supporting drafting standards checking and training.
  • Qualifications: 5+ years of experience designing/drafting structural parts, precision components, and/or subsystems, with strong interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in NX Routing, tubing, sheet Metal, and mechanisms, experience with mechanical and weldment design and component integration, and extensive knowledge of precision machined component design and manufacturing.
  • ASME Y14.5 Compliance: Extensive experience and knowledge of ASME Y14.5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance.
