Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Financial Operations Manager to join our Accounting and Finance team. Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, you will collaborate with senior leadership to navigate the complexities of our expanding global operations. This role encompasses overseeing all aspects of our corporate accounting division, including general ledger management, financial reporting, accounts payable, and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the month-end closing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while managing team activities.
  • Guarantee compliance with U.S. GAAP in all financial records.
  • Review and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial statements.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and variance analyses for review by senior management.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, assisting in the maintenance of internal controls.
  • Oversee internal and external audit processes, including quarterly reviews and year-end audits.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address challenges and enhance financial operations.
  • Provide guidance on non-routine reporting transactions and assess accounting treatments.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and implement solutions to improve departmental efficiency.
  • Support the professional development of team members by setting and monitoring annual goals.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience with progressive responsibility.
  • Experience in publicly traded companies, either in corporate finance or public accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, particularly in the technology sector.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
  • Exceptional technical accounting skills with the ability to solve complex financial challenges.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and developing finance professionals.
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Proficient in financial systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • CPA certification is required.
