Your Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients and manage incoming calls, ensuring accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Schedule appointments for various services, including visits, procedures, and consultations.
- Register patients, confirming and updating demographic information as necessary.
- Collect and verify insurance information, ensuring compliance with pre-certification and authorization requirements.
- Inform self-pay patients about their financial responsibilities and assist with payment options.
- Process patient payments, ensuring accurate receipt issuance and account documentation.
- Maintain organized work queues and prepare medical records for patient visits.
- Promote the mission and values of SCL Health while adhering to service standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of customer service experience is preferred.
- Experience in a medical or related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous.
