Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Operations Manager to join The Kay Group Corp.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year based on experience.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the growth of our upscale bar and restaurant.

You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day culinary operations, coordinating food and kitchenware orders, checking freshness and quality of ingredients, assisting in the development of menu items, standardizing recipes and plate presentations, and working with management to create a memorable experience for guests.

Responsibilities
  • Culinary Operations: Oversee day-to-day culinary operations, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality standards.
  • Food and Kitchenware Orders: Coordinate timely and efficient ordering of food and kitchenware supplies.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular checks to ensure freshness and quality of ingredients.
  • Menu Development: Assist in developing new menu items, taking into account seasonal offerings and customer preferences.
  • Recipe Standardization: Standardize recipes and plate presentations to maintain consistency and quality.
  • Guest Experience: Collaborate with management to create an exceptional dining experience for guests.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in culinary arts, cooking, or related fields.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of cost and labor systems, as well as passion for food and cooking techniques.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership qualities, with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
