Job Description:
As a Culinary Specialist in the U.S. Army, you will have the opportunity to serve as a member of the Army's food service team. This role involves preparing and cooking meals for soldiers in the field and in garrisons. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining kitchen equipment, as well as performing preventative maintenance on equipment. You will also be responsible for ordering and storing food and supplies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bake, fry, braise, boil, simmer, steam, and saute as prescribed by Army recipes.
  • Operate, maintain, and clean field kitchen equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on garrison and field kitchen equipment.
  • Order and store food and supplies.

Requirements:
  • Have a strong interest in cooking and food preparation.
  • Be able to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
