Hugg & Hall Equipment Company is seeking a skilled individual with mechanical expertise and strong customer service abilities to join our team as a Field Service Technician. POSITION OVERVIEW

The Field Service Technician plays a vital role within the Service Team, ensuring the maintenance and repair of various customer and company-owned equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of equipment at diverse customer sites to restore each unit to operational and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including Sales Representatives, Coordinators, Managers, and Customers, regarding potential downtime and updates on job progress.
  • Operate safely and efficiently with minimal supervision to reduce equipment downtime while adhering to safe working practices both on-site and during the operation of company vehicles.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 1 year of mechanical training/education or relevant experience
  • Possession or ability to acquire a complete set of tools, including specialized tools necessary for tasks at customer locations
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Clean driving record required
  • High school diploma or equivalent

SKILLS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to read or be trained in reading schematics
  • Capability to perform tasks with accuracy and timeliness
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
