Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a key member of our clinical support team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our physician practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Register patients, collect demographic and financial information, and accurately input data into our Electronic Medical Recordkeeping (EMR) system.
  • Answer and relay incoming, outgoing, and inter-office calls, providing routine and scripted instructions to patients.
  • Provide general clerical support functions, including scheduling meetings, patients, and appointments, maintaining calendars, and coordinating with other clinical services.
  • Collect and count cash receipts and daily deposits, ensuring balanced cash drawers.
  • Maintain order and cleanliness throughout the clinic, performing housekeeping duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical clerical experience in a hospital, physician practice, clinic, nursing home, or insurance agency (preferred).

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position with a standard 40-hour workweek. The work schedule is day job, and the location is PARDHLTCAM.
