Become a vital part of our School Age Programs team

We are seeking a committed individual to foster a secure, enjoyable, and enriching atmosphere for all participants in our programs. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in upholding our guidelines and procedures, as well as assisting in the oversight of team members when the Site Coordinator is unavailable.

Primary Duties:

  • Design and execute weekly programming in alignment with YMCA Curriculum
  • Oversee team members and offer support
  • Guarantee the safety and enjoyment of all children during activities
  • Establish positive connections with parents, colleagues, and school staff
  • Manage equipment, supplies, and documentation
  • Support budget management and fee collection
  • Participate in meetings and training sessions as necessary
  • Advocate for YMCA programs and promote family involvement

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in before or after school programs
  • Credits in early childhood education or similar certification
  • Certification in First Aid, CPR & AED
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Capability to resolve conflicts and foster relationships

Compensation and Benefits:
