Per Diem Physical Therapist

Bancroft NeuroRehab is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapist to join our team in Toms River, NJ. As a member of our clinical team, you will work closely with skilled therapists, clinicians, and brain injury specialists to create individualized plans for people with acquired brain injuries and neurological conditions.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct, consultative, and supportive diagnostic and therapeutic physical therapy services to individuals with brain injuries and neurological conditions.
- Conduct diagnostic assessments and develop treatment plans to enhance the individual potential for learning and meet the specific rehabilitation needs of each person served.
- Collaborate with all specialty/clinical disciplines, parents/guardians, and residential and day program staff to identify and best meet the individual rehabilitation needs of each person served.
- Participate in monthly team/departmental meetings and serve as a member of the Trans-Disciplinary Team (TDT) process in conjunction with the Individual Program Plan (IPP).
- May work with physical therapy students throughout the course of assignment in the assessment and treatment of individuals with brain injuries and neurological conditions.
A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy and a current N.J. State Physical Therapist license are required. A minimum of one year of work experience in physical therapy, working with neurologically-impaired individuals, is preferred.
