Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Relationship Manager to join our team at M&T Bank. As a key member of our commercial banking team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with major businesses in the community, identifying new business opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of complex and large dollar amount loan and/or deposit relationships with major businesses in the community.
  • Solicit new business opportunities and cross-sell bank products and services to existing clients.
  • Administer and service existing business relationships, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Participate in a formal call program to develop new loan, deposit, and fee-based business.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends and developments to increase the bank's business in established and developing markets.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or four years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum of seven years of commercial portfolio management experience.
  • Financial analysis and knowledge of banking credit principles.
  • General knowledge of banking and the bank's various commercial fee-based products.
  • Applied knowledge of bank policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to sell effectively to prospects and clients.
What We Offer

M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $127,274.43 - $212,124.05 Annual (USD). The successful candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
