About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Master Data Governance Lead to join our team at Stericycle. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our material master data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional teams to create and maintain material master attributes, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
  • Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and resolve data quality issues.
  • Design and implement data conversion and cleansing rules to migrate material master data to our ERP system.
  • Provide training and support to functional process owners on data governance best practices.
  • Develop and maintain data governance metrics and reports to track data quality and compliance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
  • Five or more years of experience in leading master data governance initiatives in material management, transportation management, and distribution centre/warehouse management.
  • Strong understanding of Business Systems – SAP, Coupa, POE/OMS, Salesforce, Steriworks, Omnitracs RoadNet, Descartes or similar Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
  • Foundational understanding of Product, Services, Supplies etc. master data creation / maintenance and the business processes around them.
  • Strong understanding of North America business processes and its data usage across the enterprise.
  • Experience working with SAP Master Data Governance or similar Data Governance tool or environment within the Material / Product Domain.
