As an Oracle Systems Engineer within PNC's Oracle Engineering division, you will play a crucial role in our operations.

Job Profile

As an Oracle Systems Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Oracle Engineering team. Your primary responsibility will be to serve as a subject matter expert, addressing escalations from other database support teams regarding critical issues that require advanced resolution. Additionally, you will act as the lead expert for various project initiatives.

We are looking for candidates with substantial experience in Oracle database migrations and upgrades, Oracle DataGuard, RMAN, Recovery Appliance administration, Golden Gate, EUS, TDE, OEM, and RHP. Expertise in OEM administration and engineering, including OEM/OMS upgrades, patching, and migration, is highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designs and supports technology solutions while consistently meeting client needs. Utilizes technical expertise and industry knowledge to create, build, and maintain infrastructure technology solutions.
  • Develops software components and hardware for projects; aligns these with business strategies and objectives.
  • Independently resolves common issues and updates applications with new technologies.
  • Collaborates with engineers, architects, developers, and other personnel to achieve project goals.
  • Analyzes customer technological needs and provides ongoing support for clients.
