We are seeking a dedicated Automation Systems Engineer who thrives in a dynamic environment. This role is ideal for individuals who are proactive, possess a strong sense of urgency, and are committed to making informed decisions that contribute to the long-term success of the organization.

The primary responsibilities of this Automation Systems Engineer include overseeing DCS/PLC/control systems projects from inception to completion. This encompasses defining project scope, developing justifications, preparing appropriation requests, selecting vendors and contractors, ensuring safety compliance, managing installation, and leading start-up and commissioning activities, culminating in project closure and final audits.

Additional responsibilities involve collaborating with manufacturing, converting, safety, and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues, engage in long-term planning, address daily operational challenges, and optimize process controls.

Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be presenting innovative concepts and solutions to colleagues with diverse technical expertise. A solid understanding of NEC and related codes is also required to succeed in this role.
