Cybersecurity Engineer Role

Key responsibilities include executing cybersecurity protocols, ensuring adherence to industry regulations, and collaborating with both internal and external partners to fulfill cybersecurity needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customize and comply with the Cybersecurity product lifecycle process to align with J3061, UNECE WP29 R155, R156, and ISO/SAE 21434 standards.
  • Engage with clients and internal teams to collect Cybersecurity Requirements and guarantee a comprehensive understanding.
  • Formulate ADAS product Cybersecurity system/architecture requirements in partnership with stakeholders.
  • Facilitate cybersecurity communication across suppliers, R&D, manufacturing, and customer OEMs to convey requirements effectively.
  • Ensure adherence to all cybersecurity methodologies and guidelines throughout projects, confirming that products meet security standards.
  • Develop project working packages that encompass Cybersecurity Risk Analysis, Cybersecurity Concepts, Test Execution, Incident Management, and Test Planning.
  • Collaborate with the Functional Cybersecurity Manager and other project members on cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Conduct technical security evaluations, collaborate with Product Testing teams, and engage in security assessments.
  • Comprehend and evaluate product hardware and software components from suppliers to ensure alignment with cybersecurity standards.
  • Participate in internal and external cybersecurity working groups aimed at process standardization.
Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Master's degree and active cybersecurity certification are preferred.
  • Experience in Software Quality and processes (e.g., ASPICE, CMMI, IATF16949) is advantageous.

Professional Experience:

  • A minimum of 2+ years of industry experience in systems engineering or electronic product development.
  • Familiarity with embedded security standards, including SAE J3061, UNECE WP29 R155 & R156, and ISO/SAE AWI 21434.
  • Proficiency in embedded cybersecurity, secure coding practices, and product design.
  • Knowledge of Automotive Vehicle Networks and embedded systems, preferably within Automotive products.

Travel Requirements:

  • Occasional international travel may be required.
