The Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Portfolio Manager will oversee the management activities following the closing of equity investments.

This role primarily serves as the liaison with syndicator partners throughout the onboarding, development, construction, and operational phases of LIHTC investments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and nurture relationships with syndicator partners during the development, construction, and operational stages of LIHTC investments.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of Multifamily portfolio data, including counterparties, market conditions, legal agreements, financial statements, and cash flows. Identify patterns and draw logical conclusions from the data.
  • Address and resolve issues by sourcing and analyzing information to formulate recommendations.
  • Present findings to management and external stakeholders, effectively communicating financial and credit risks in a clear and persuasive manner.
  • Ensure the quality and integrity of data while assisting in the automation of asset management processes.
  • Enhance procedures for monitoring and communicating credit risk within the team and across the Multifamily division.
  • Lead and support the creation of action plans for non-routine project-based tasks, including regulatory compliance and internal audits.
  • Maintain training schedules and focus on personal development aligned with leadership criteria that support business unit objectives.
  • Assist with various ad hoc projects as required.
