Job Title: Construction Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team at Tumeq LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing project control services for heavy civil projects in Springfield/Oregon City, Oregon.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day field activities to ensure project milestone dates and overall schedule completion date are met.
  • Create short-interval look-ahead project schedules to communicate, track, and proactively address upcoming events.
  • Establish and maintain dimensional controls for the project, including the use of third-party survey and layout personnel when necessary.
  • Verify that all work is installed in a workmanlike manner and manage the punch list and project closeout process to ensure timely completion.
  • Administer client and corporate specific programs, such as CQC, Safety, Environmental Stewardship, etc.
  • Conduct and/or attend pre-construction, progress, and other project and staff meetings to prevent avoidable rework.
Requirements:
  • Construction Management Degree, Civil Engineering Degree, or minimum of 5 years in Heavy Civil Construction as a field superintendent.
  • Proven track record of success on projects administered by USACE, DHS, ODOT, and/or county.
  • Related project experience strongly preferred.
  • PC literate in Microsoft Office applications with proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • Scheduling software experience.
  • Must have a clean driving record for the past 3 years and be able to walk through rough construction sites and lift 70 pounds from the ground.
  • Able to pass a drug test, background check, and driver's record.
  • Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
