Cowen Construction is seeking a highly skilled Construction Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our Building Team, you will be responsible for overseeing project sites, ensuring quality, schedule management, safety, and budget control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage commercial project sites, ensuring non-compromise quality, schedule management, safety, and budget control.
  • Oversee and inspect work in place and as performed against designs, plans, specifications, subcontracts/scopes, shop drawings, and overall craftsmanship.
  • Document and manage jobsite details, report on daily progress, and develop two-week look ahead plans.
  • Manage and set client expectations, and professionally address concerns or issue escalation.
Requirements:
  • Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products, Procore, and Bluebeam.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read drawings and specifications.
  • Ability to layout for construction.
  • Ability to work with tools.
  • Functions effectively as part of a team.
  • Dependable.
  • Commitment to safety.
  • Demonstrate time management and organizational skills.
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Solid communication skills.
  • Results-driven, with the ability to effectively manage and follow up on multiple priorities.
  • Computer skills, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to work with construction management software (Procore).
Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or equivalent preferred.
