Job Overview

Part-Time Laborer (Glazing/Construction)

The Glass Guru of Hendersonville is actively looking for a dedicated Laborer with some foundational experience in Glazing and/or Construction to join our team on a part-time basis. The primary responsibilities will involve supporting the Lead Glazier in the installation of insulated glass units, window replacements, shower enclosures, mirrors, and various other residential glass projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation of various glass products.
  • Support the Lead Glazier in daily tasks and projects.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications & Educational Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • All applicants must successfully complete an initial background check and drug screening. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are necessary.
  • Candidates should be physically fit, in good health, and capable of lifting 50-100 lbs. without assistance.
  • *Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with residential glass replacement, including single/double pane windows and shower enclosures.
  • Knowledge of window and door installation for both new construction and retrofit projects.
  • Skills in window and door maintenance and repair.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) is preferred.
  • A strong work ethic, motivation, and exceptional organizational and time-management skills.

This position offers 20-30 hours of work per week.
