The Sales Engineer will play a pivotal role in promoting, specifying, and selling roofing and waterproofing solutions to a diverse clientele, including commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors. This position requires delivering technical support, fostering robust customer relationships, and meeting sales objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in protected membrane roofing and waterproofing technologies, exceptional sales capabilities, and the proficiency to convey intricate technical concepts effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and cultivate new business prospects within the low slope roofing and waterproofing sector.
  • Establish and nurture strong connections with contractors, architects, consultants, and property owners.
  • Conduct engaging product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for clients and industry stakeholders.
  • Meet and surpass sales goals and performance metrics.
  • Provide comprehensive technical assistance and guidance to clients regarding product selection, application, and installation processes.
  • Maintain precise and current records of sales activities, customer interactions, and project developments.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer insights.
Qualifications:
  • Self-motivated and proactive team player with strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Extensive knowledge and expertise in low slope roofing systems, waterproofing products, and associated materials.
  • A minimum of 3 to 8 years of progressively responsible experience is preferred.
  • Detail-oriented, numerically adept, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced business environment that requires multitasking.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with AutoCAD is a plus.
