Position Description

This position will facilitate the successful implementation of the Child First data systems and quality enhancement practices as the network grows throughout the United States. This individual will facilitate effective and efficient solutions for documentation and billing requirements within the Child First electronic health record. This position works closely with the affiliate site leadership to understand the regulatory requirements for Child First program's services in new communities, with the NSO Information Systems department, and potentially with state leadership. A successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and will be able to manage their time effectively to meet competing deadlines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Replication Coordination: Coordinate the Child First program's replication and expansion activities with prospective and implementing affiliate organizations regarding Child First data systems and quality improvement practices. Serve as the Data and Quality Enhancement team representative on inter-departmental replication teams and communicate clear and timely updates. Present at and facilitate meetings with NSO and site leadership during replication to promote understanding of model expectations for documentation, data collection, performance measurement, fidelity monitoring and quality improvement. Collaborate with teammates to refine processes and workflows to increase efficiency and effectiveness of Child First replication.
  2. Implementation Assessment & Support: Using available qualitative and quantitative data, assess health of the Child First replication at site and regional levels and proactively collaborate with NSO and site leadership to address barriers to successful implementation. Assess and support the electronic health record system training needs of new sites.
  3. System Configuration & Data Coordination: Coordinate and ensure accurate completion of system configurations in the electronic systems for the new regions and sites to ensure they are prepared for training and service delivery. Upon site closure, coordinate and complete data and quality enhancement tasks upon termination of Child First affiliate sites. Coordinate implementation of data extract solution with affiliate sites' organizational electronic systems
  4. Regulatory & community context research: Research regulatory requirements in each new region and assess impact on delivery of Child First program in the region. Consult with sites on interpretations of regulatory requirements. Collaborate with other NSO departments for integration of regional systems context in delivery of data systems and quality improvement trainings and materials
Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Minimum 3 years' experience implementing or maintaining an Electronic Health Record database. Experience with CareLogic preferred. Minimum 2 years' experience researching and incorporating regulatory compliance into programmatic practice. Experience with Medicaid and HIPAA preferred. Minimum 2 years' experience with project management of complex projects. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as a member of multiple teams. Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to translate complex information to varying audiences. Travel up to 10% of the time (dependent upon business need.)

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position reports to the Director, National Data and Quality and has no direct reports.

Salary

Salary is determined based on experience and skill set. Geographical adjustments will be considered. Range: $60,000 - $70,000/year
