About the Role

This is a career opportunity in the Industrial Hose & Rubber industry, where successful professionals often stay for an entire career. As a Territory Sales Manager Northwest, you will be surrounded by team members and customers with decades of experience. Your role is to build long-term relationships and a lasting reputation within the industry.

You will directly manage a customer base of partner distributors & OEM partners, building relationships high, deep, and wide within your customer base. You will also look for and manage business opportunities & sales pipeline, expanding Thermoid's market share & operational profit within the Northwest & Southwest U.S.

This is a remote role, but we prefer the ideal candidate to reside in the Territory in one of the following states: Nevada, Arizona, and Utah. All applicants should reside near a major airport.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will be expected to travel as needed, often being away from home several days consecutively.
  • You will engage with your customers at all levels, from CEO's & General Managers to purchasing managers and field sales personnel.
  • You will keep up with industry trends and competitive intel as it relates to our product category.
  • You will report weekly interactions and manage your opportunity pipeline.
  • You will craft professional customer presentations using Microsoft suite of products.
  • You will provide product/sales trainings with your distributor partners on a regular basis.

Requirements
  • 5 or more years in an industrial sales, technical sales, or product management role.
  • Ability to demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated decision-making and strategic account management.
  • Advanced skill with all MS Office products.
  • Analytical- ability to analyze customer business trends and drive action to course correct.
  • Professional- ability to represent our organization at the highest level.
  • Communication- ability to demonstrate a high degree of both written and oral communication and be comfortable in either virtual or in-person settings.
  • Business Owner- ability to treat this as your own business and recommend and implement intelligent business decisions based on revenue, margin, profit, and competitive edge.
  • Self-Motivated- ability to succeed and demonstrate complete ownership of your role.
  • Commitment to improve- desire to learn and improve your skillset every day.
  • Relationship Builder- ability to build long-term & meaningful relationships with colleagues, customers, and industry leaders.

Travel Requirements
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License with a safe driving record.
  • Must be able to travel regularly up to 50% of the time.
