Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager to spearhead the development and execution of a cloud-based data management platform tailored to meet organizational data handling requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong history of crafting and deploying efficient cloud solutions for intricate data management challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate seamless project delivery throughout the project lifecycle, encompassing project planning, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Coordinate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Retrospectives, and Release Planning.
- Monitor and communicate project progress concerning schedule, budget, and risk to stakeholders and team members.
- Create an environment conducive to team effectiveness and assist in removing barriers to progress.
- Shield the team from external interruptions and ensure positive interactions with the product owner and other stakeholders.
- Track and report on team performance metrics and project velocity.
- Encourage continuous improvement and assist teams in enhancing productivity.
- Support the Product Owner in managing the Product Backlog.
- Adhere to established project management methodologies and practices.
- Communicate project timelines and expectations to both technical and business personnel.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ascertain project requirements and facilitate data management solutions.
- Ensure secure data collection, storage, and processing in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Analyze data to provide insights that support decision-making processes.
- Deliver training and support to end-users to maximize platform utilization.
- Demonstrate expertise in planning, implementing, and maintaining master data systems across various business functions.
- Utilize data effectively to drive business value and engage with data teams to discuss requirements.
- Implement data governance principles and practices.
- Document requirements and use cases, and facilitate design workshops for assigned projects.
- Define testing objectives and create test plans and cases for projects.
- Manage project milestones and deliverables to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.
- Establish, measure, and communicate progress through defined metrics.
Qualifications:
- In-depth understanding of software development life cycle models and Agile project management principles.
- Experience in managing cloud-based data solutions and analytics.
- Ability to engage with clients, comprehend their business needs, and manage expectations effectively.
- Proficient in setting performance standards and holding team members accountable while maintaining engagement.
- Support Product Owners in creating and prioritizing the Product Backlog.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills, including mentoring, coaching, and team collaboration.
- Possess strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to analyze and document business and system processes effectively.
- Skilled in balancing quality, scope, schedule, and cost demands.
- Familiarity with Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
- PMP and CSM certifications are required; SAFe certification is preferred.
- Experience with the SAFe framework is advantageous.
Preferred:
Comprehensive knowledge of cloud infrastructure and software systems, including Azure.
