About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Cardiology Technician to join our esteemed Cardiology department at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and their owners.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Participate in the management of patients with early to advanced heart disease, including outpatient appointments and serial diagnostics.
  • Collaboration with DVMs: Work closely with our veterinarians to assess, diagnose, and treat patients, as well as educate owners about cardiac diseases, prognosis, and homecare.
  • Imaging and Procedures: Utilize various imaging modalities to assess patients and procedures, and assist with both outpatient and surgical procedures.
  • Patient Advocacy: Provide empathy, comfort, and unparalleled nursing care to all patients, and serve as a strong advocate during hospitalization.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the safety and best practice care for all patients by maintaining all equipment on a per-use basis.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Associate's degree or equivalent work experience required; 1-2 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician, CVT preferred.
  • Skills and Qualities: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good time management skills, and a diligent work ethic.
