Position Overview & Responsibilities

This role involves significant engagement with quality assurance processes. Responsibilities include conducting case reviews, analyzing and reporting data, and performing customer satisfaction surveys for Kansas Rehabilitation Services. Additionally, the individual will assist regional teams in re-engaging consumers with services and managing an email inbox for staff inquiries, ensuring questions are directed to the appropriate departments (e.g., policy & procedure, quality assurance, training).

The selected candidate will report to the data administrator within rehabilitation services and support various quality assurance initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent; a college degree is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications: At least one year of experience in planning, implementing, and monitoring activities related to VR programs. Relevant education may substitute for experience as determined by the agency.

  • Security Clearance: A background check (including criminal history, welfare fraud, driver's license verification, and Child/Adult Abuse and Neglect Central Registry) is mandatory for all positions within the Department for Children and Families (DCF). Security clearance must be obtained prior to employment and maintained throughout.
  • Tax Clearance: Candidates offered a position with the State of Kansas must apply for a Kansas Tax Clearance Certificate within 10 days of the job offer.
