We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Parking Representative at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, VT. As a Parking Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while ensuring a safe and efficient parking experience.

Job SummaryThis is a full-time position working 30-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will be a friendly and dependable individual with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently. The position comes with a competitive salary of $15-$16 per hour and a range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and holiday pay.
Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff
- Greet and welcome guests and parkers
- Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, parkers, co-workers, and clients
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests and parkers
- Provide directions, taxis, reservations, and information about amenities of the facility
- Maintain booth cleanliness and perform other general lot maintenance
- Responsible for money handling and accountability of those funds
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Reliability and dependability
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency with mobile applications, hand-held electronic devices, and computers
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds
- Good work ethic and team player
- Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a criminal background check
