Job Summary:

This position plays a vital role in the daily activities of a clinical site, ensuring the smooth flow of patients by providing clerical and clinical health care support to patients and family under the direction of a provider. The ideal candidate will possess mastery of basic clinical activities and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily clinical site activities, including patient registration, chart preparation, and data entry.
  • Provide clerical and clinical support to patients and family, including answering phone calls, responding to messages, and facilitating communication between providers and patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care, including preparing patients for exams, procedures, and treatments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, medications, and test results.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Vocational training in a relevant area preferred.
  • CPR certification required within six months of hire.
  • Initial entry-level trainee period mandatory (3-6 months) for candidates with no experience.
  • Experience providing or assisting in direct patient care preferred.
