Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at the University of Vermont Medical Center. As a key member of our dental team, you will provide high-quality dental hygiene services to our patients and play a vital role in promoting oral health and wellness.

Responsibilities
  • Provide dental hygiene services to patients, including routine cleanings, exams, and patient education.
  • Work collaboratively with residents and staff dentists to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Coach patients on oral health and hygiene practices.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a US or Canadian dental hygiene program with Associate or Bachelor degree in Dental Hygiene.
  • CPR certification and Vermont licensure required.
  • Local Anesthesia certification preferred.
  • Vermont State Dental Assistant Registration and CDA certificate, CPR certificate, Dental Assisting National Board Certificate, CPR certificate.
