Position Overview:
Varstaff is in search of a Mechanical Engineer II who specializes in aerospace structural analysis. This role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity and performance of spacecraft structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough analysis of load paths within aerospace structures.
  • Integrate structural analysis with environmental factors to ensure optimal performance.
  • Develop finite element models and perform strength checks to validate designs.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a minimum of a B.S. Degree in mechanical, aerospace, or civil engineering, along with at least 2 years of relevant experience. A solid understanding of structural fundamentals is essential.

Desired Skills:
Candidates with expertise in vehicle load path definition, composite design and analysis, and structural optimization will be highly regarded. Familiarity with ProEngineer Wildfire 4 / Creo Parametric or later versions, as well as experience in human spaceflight, is advantageous.

Eligibility:
Must be a U.S. citizen or hold lawful status in the U.S.
