Front Desk Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at Queens Boulevard Extended Care Facility.
The ideal candidate will be able to maintain resident security and safety in the lobby area, monitor all visitors and staff, and provide administrative support as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain resident security/safety in lobby area by viewing facility cameras and monitoring entrances and exits.
- Monitor all visitors, doctors, consultants, vendors, signing-in and signing-out entering and exiting facility.
- Serve as a telephone operator and transfer calls to appropriate disciplines within the facility.
- Manage the reception area and provide administrative and clerical support.
- Report any disruptions in regular facility services to the Administrator and Department Head.
- Assist in monitoring security practices for compliance with established policies and procedures annually.
Working Schedule:
The selected candidate will work one of two shifts: 3pm-11pm or 11pm-7am. We require open availability for this position.
Requirements:
- Must be able to speak and read English fluently.
- Must be able to work the required schedule.
- Security experience is not necessary, but having a NYS Security Guard License in good standing is preferred.
- At least one year of Security/Front Desk Receptionist experience in a skilled nursing facility is also preferred.
- Must be highly organized and able to multitask.
- Must be able to handle high-pressure situations calmly and professionally.
- Must have excellent customer service skills and be able to interact effectively with all levels of staff and the public.
Salary: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
