The County of San Bernardino California is seeking a skilled Sheriff's Records Clerk to perform a variety of clerical assignments and support functions related to maintaining law enforcement records and handling public inquiries. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date law enforcement records
  • Providing excellent customer service to the public, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Assisting with the preparation and dissemination of reports and other documents
  • Performing data entry and other administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a clerical or administrative role, preferably in a law enforcement or government setting
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
