Commercial Account Executive

At Pendo, we're looking for an experienced Commercial Account Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales force, you'll be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the B2B SaaS market. With a proven track record of success in sales and a strong understanding of SaaS financial metrics, you'll be able to navigate complex deals from demo complete to close.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work full-cycle deals from demo complete to close
- Research and target new business opportunities using prospecting tools
- Build and manage an account priority plan
- Learn and demonstrate the Pendo platform to new prospective customers
- Lead effective value discovery to truly understand customer needs
- Navigate a customer through a 7 day free trial and proof of concept
- Negotiate contracts, review legal terms
- Deploy In-depth SaaS sales training with MEDDIC and Force Management methods
- Record and document all sales activities in Salesforce.com
- Successfully utilize all sales tech tools
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ years of closing experience in a B2B SaaS environment
- Demonstrated consistent track record of goal attainment
- Possess an understanding of SaaS financial metrics
The expected salary range for this role in Raleigh, NC is $115,000-$140,000 per year. We offer a competitive compensation package that includes benefits and other reward opportunities.
