KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepares a diverse selection of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other dishes as per requests.
- Takes full accountability for the quality of all items served.
- Consistently adheres to standard portion sizes, cooking techniques, quality benchmarks, and kitchen policies.
- Ensures adequate stock levels of food products at line stations to facilitate seamless service.
- Measures and portions food items prior to cooking in accordance with standard sizes and recipe guidelines.
- Keeps a clean and sanitary workstation, including tables, shelves, grills, fryers, ovens, and refrigeration units.
- Understands and implements proper plate presentation and garnish setup for all meals.
- Handles, stores, and rotates all food products appropriately.
- Assists with food preparation tasks during slower periods as necessary.
- Properly closes the kitchen and follows the closing checklist for all stations, while aiding others in food delivery to the dining area.
- Exudes warmth and hospitality in all interactions.
- Communicates effectively in the primary language(s) of the restaurant's operational area.
