About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Technician to join our team at Methodist Richardson Medical Center. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist professional nursing personnel in the care of patients, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment.
  • Perform activities of daily living, take vital signs, and collect specimens or measures as needed.
  • Document observations, assist with groups, calls, and treatment planning to contribute to the unit's success.
  • Communicate clearly and openly with colleagues and patients, building relationships to promote a collaborative environment.
  • Be accountable for your performance, always looking for ways to improve the patient experience and take initiative for your professional growth.
