Job Summary:

As a Mental Health Technician at Methodist Health System, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to deliver the highest level of care, ensuring the safety, comfort, and therapeutic environment for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist professional nursing personnel in the care of patients, promoting a culture of safety and quality care.
Participate in the activities of daily living, taking vital signs, and collecting specimens or measures as needed.
Document observations and assist with groups, calls, and treatment planning to contribute to the smooth running of the unit.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support certification required.
Annual training in management of aggressive patients required.
2 years of experience in a mental health-related field with direct patient care responsibilities required.
