SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE AND FUNCTION

The Client Service Coordinator ("CSC") is responsible for managing the flow of clients and their pets within the veterinary facility. This role is essential in enhancing the productivity of the veterinary medical team, ensuring effective communication with both associates and clients, and coordinating the care of clients and pets in a welcoming, friendly, and efficient manner. The CSC plays a vital role in encouraging clients to return and refer others.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

  1. Embody and promote the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within oneself and the team.
  2. Proactively attract new clients by showcasing hospital services and managing the flow of clients and pets to guarantee exceptional client care and optimal productivity of the veterinary medical team.
  3. Enhance the number of pets seen by the hospital team through an efficiently operated facility that supports the needs of wellness plan clients.
  4. Deliver professional, efficient, and outstanding service consistently. This includes encouraging visits, warmly welcoming clients and pets, ensuring their comfort, and educating them about their pets' health.
  5. Inform clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventive care, pet health requirements, and available hospital services.
  6. Assist incoming clients by completing necessary documentation, entering pet information and history into the system, utilizing appropriate identification collars and tags, and ensuring prompt service.
  7. Support outgoing clients by providing essential instructions, information, and invoices, dispensing prescription items as directed by the veterinarian, selling retail products, and scheduling future appointments.
  8. Oversee financial transactions by maintaining accurate balances and adhering to proper opening and closing procedures.
  9. Conduct administrative tasks as required.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.
