Position Overview: We are in search of a skilled and enthusiastic Endpoint Management Specialist for a full-time onsite role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the transformation of the client’s endpoint computing landscape, emphasizing Windows 10 (or higher), Office 365, and essential aspects of workplace modernization.
  • Manage software updates distribution and the removal of obsolete software from endpoints.
  • Provide extended services to various organizations as required, including IP migration for printers and user transitions to new hardware.
  • Maintain an asset inventory database and ensure support and maintenance are up to date.
  • Utilize tools like Microsoft Windows PowerShell for application packaging.
  • Develop installation packages for Windows, printers, and mobile devices as necessary.
  • Support end-user hardware/software migration and upgrades.
  • Deploy software updates promptly to address security vulnerabilities.
  • Package solutions for reimaging malfunctioning or problematic machines.
  • Assist in the support and upgrade of newly acquired computer systems.
  • Automate application updates to streamline processes.
  • Provide troubleshooting support for Microsoft Office O365 and other related services.
  • Establish operational processes for delivering top-tier technology platforms.
  • Analyze and devise innovative solutions for complex issues affecting system availability and performance.
  • Conduct capacity and performance analyses, implementing recommendations as needed.
  • Plan and manage project tasks effectively.
  • Prepare materials and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Lead discussions in meetings concerning specific technical projects.
  • Stay informed about current and emerging technologies relevant to assigned platforms.
  • Train less experienced IT team members.
  • Perform visual inspections of system components and monitor status indicators.
  • Maintain project plans and inform management of critical failures or missed milestones.
  • Conduct isolation testing for problematic equipment or software.
  • Implement a quality assurance program tailored to project needs.
  • Document equipment configurations and track changes using computer-based documentation and trouble ticket systems.
  • Monitor support queues to manage deployment, packaging, and automation project impacts.
  • Provide comprehensive support services during deployment phases, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and training.
  • Facilitate user assistance and training sessions.
  • Deliver on-site system or application support as required.
  • Support in-place OS upgrades to Windows 10 SAC 21H2 (or higher).
  • Identify and address issues related to Microsoft Workplace Modernization initiatives.
  • Develop scripted solutions to assess and remediate computer system health issues.
  • Analyze and resolve intricate hardware and software challenges within distributed systems.
  • Utilize management systems for endpoints, including Tanium, MECM, Ivanti MDM/Neurons, and Active Directory.
  • Perform tests and implement hardware/software modifications, including backup and restoration tasks.
  • Provide regular status updates and maintain project cost chargebacks.
  • Follow change and test management procedures as necessary.

Qualifications: A degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field is preferred. If a degree is not available, an additional four years of pertinent work experience is required.
