Ryder System is seeking an experienced Mobile Diesel Technician to join our team. As a Mobile Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of heavy-duty trucks.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake and tire work, and diagnostic repairs.
- Repair and replace diesel engines, transmissions, and other components as needed.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure all vehicles are in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet customer needs and deadlines.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with customers and colleagues.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification preferred.
- Three or more years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance.
- Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
