As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance, diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electronic issues, and ensuring our fleet of heavy-duty vehicles is in top condition.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform vehicle maintenance and repair duties
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic issues
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance
  • Inspect and repair components as needed
  • Interact with customers/drivers to determine the nature of complaints
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Vocational or technical certification preferred
  • Basic tools required
  • Demonstrated aptitude and experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A preferred
Benefits:
  • Average weekly pay: $1160
  • Hourly pay: $29.00 per hour
  • Certification bonus of $100 for each new ASE certification obtained up to $700
  • Quarterly bonus: Ryder pays up to $500 every quarter
  • Second shift schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, Sunday & Monday off
  • Hours: 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm
