Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to join our team at Ryder in Tukwila, WA. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance, including oil changes, brake and tire work, and other repairs on our fleet of heavy-duty vehicles.

Responsibilities:

Perform standard vehicle maintenance and repairs
Diagnose mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computers
Perform facility maintenance duties
Interact with customers/drivers to determine the nature of complaints
Perform other support duties as required

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A preferred
Ability to obtain CDL within 6 months of hire
