Job Summary

TransWest Mobility is seeking an experienced Fleet Technician/Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Seattle. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing complex repairs and maintenance on our fleet of vehicles. We offer a competitive salary, a $7,500 sign-on bonus, and a $2,000 tool allowance every year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
  • Conduct field visits to repair or tow inoperable vehicles
  • Support the IT team in managing on-board shuttle technology
  • Prepare work plans and assign tasks to other technicians as needed
Requirements
  • HD ASE certification preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of diesel engine components and operational mechanisms
  • Experience working with heavy-duty electrical systems, air brakes, and suspensions
  • Proficiency in diesel engine diagnostic software
  • Minimum of five years maintenance experience working with a variety of vehicles
