Key Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Performance Integrity Process Engineer to contribute to our Cyber Mission sector. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting one of the most extensive enterprise-level engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. This position entails a commitment of 1880 hours annually, with work conducted at a designated customer site. As a Process Engineer, your focus will be on applying process enhancement methodologies and engineering principles to optimize and synchronize Enterprise-level processes. You will facilitate project teams in achieving their objectives and ensure the seamless transfer of new processes and practices to project teams through group facilitation, training, and knowledge transfer initiatives.

Additionally, your duties will include:
  • Formulating plans for process evaluations.
  • Collaborating with project team members to assess organizational readiness for evaluations and executing those evaluations.
  • Coordinating and scheduling process evaluations.
  • Leading teams in both formal and informal evaluations.
  • Analyzing evaluation outcomes and proposing improvement strategies.
  • Driving Process Improvement initiatives utilizing CMM/CMI or comparable process frameworks.
  • Interpreting and advocating for the adoption of Process Improvement best practices.
  • Ensuring processes are documented and established to support the application of sound systems engineering principles and ongoing process enhancement.
Qualifications

Required Experience and Skills:
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Process Improvement within programs and contracts of similar scope and complexity. This experience should include at least five years in facilitation, training, methodology development, and evaluation, as well as process engineering across all acquisition phases, identifying best practices, change management, organizational development, and data modeling. A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or Education from an accredited institution is required. A High School diploma combined with four years of additional experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Excel, Visio, and Python-based Lab Bench/Jupyter notebooks.
  • This position necessitates a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
Desired Skills:
  • Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
  • Capability to work autonomously or collaboratively within a team to complete assigned tasks within expected timelines.
  • Familiarity with data collection and processing, including dataflow, analysis, report generation, and customer feedback is advantageous.
  • Adaptability to a dynamic work environment and customer workflows.
Selected candidates will undergo a government security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
