Position Overview

Peraton is seeking a Performance Integrity Process Engineer to contribute to our Cyber Mission business unit. This role involves supporting a significant enterprise-wide engineering initiative within the Intelligence Community. The position requires a commitment of 1880 hours annually, with responsibilities carried out at a designated customer site.

Key Responsibilities

As a Process Engineer, you will:
  • Implement process enhancement methodologies and engineering principles to refine and synchronize Enterprise-level operations.
  • Facilitate project teams in achieving project goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate the dissemination of new processes and practices to project teams through group facilitation, training, and knowledge transfer.
  • Act as a primary liaison among various project teams to ensure cohesive integration of engineering efforts across the Enterprise.
Additional Duties Include:
  • Developing comprehensive plans for process evaluations.
  • Collaborating with project team members to assess organizational readiness for evaluations and conducting those evaluations.
  • Scheduling and coordinating process evaluations.
  • Leading teams in both formal and informal evaluations.
  • Analyzing evaluation outcomes and providing recommendations for enhancements.
  • Driving Process Improvement initiatives utilizing CMM/CMI or comparable process frameworks.
  • Promoting best practices in Process Improvement.
  • Ensuring that processes are well-documented to support sound systems engineering practices and ongoing process enhancement.
Qualifications

Required Experience:
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Process Improvement within similar programs and contracts.
  • Five years of experience in facilitation, training, methodology development, and process engineering within the last decade.
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or Education from an accredited institution is mandatory. A High School diploma combined with four years of additional experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, Excel, Visio, and Python-based Lab Bench/Jupyter notebooks.
  • Possession of a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is essential.
Desired Skills:
  • Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
  • Capability to work autonomously or collaboratively to complete tasks within expected timelines.
  • Familiarity with data collection and processing, including dataflow, analysis, report generation, and customer feedback.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic work environment and customer workflows.
Selected candidates will undergo a government security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information.

Compensation

The typical salary range for this position is $135,000 - $216,000, reflecting the expected compensation based on experience and other relevant factors.
