Mental Health Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Worker to join our team at Riverview Psychiatric Center. As a key member of our team, you will provide paraprofessional support work involving the direct care and rehabilitation of patients with severe and persistent mental illness.
Responsibilities- Implement programs and treatment plans to support patient recovery and rehabilitation
- Provide direct patient care and support to patients with complex mental health needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans
- Assist with the education and training of patients and their families on mental health topics
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Preference given to candidates with experience in mental health and registration on the State of Maine's CNA register
