We are recruiting part-time Mental Health Technicians to join our team at Lighthouse Care Center of Augusta. As a Mental Health Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children, adolescents, and young adults with serious emotional disturbance and/or co-occurring substance abuse disorders.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Monitor unit patients and complete rounds as assigned
* Participate in treatment planning
* Assist in the admission process
* Orient new patients to the unit and their program
* Plan and prepare for group therapy sessions
* Maintain patient, program, department, and related documentation

**Qualifications:**

* Must be at least 21 years of age
* Associate's or Bachelor's level education in a human service-related field required
* Valid driver's license with no suspensions or tickets for major traffic violations for at least three years
* Experience working with children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbance and/or co-occurring substance abuse disorders preferred
* CPR/First Aid certification required or ability to obtain within the first week of hire
* Willingness to become certified in therapeutic restraint technique program
* Additional pay offered for lifeguard certification
