Clinical Nurse Specialist

The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) is a highly skilled clinician who provides expert consultation to all care providers and implements improvements in healthcare delivery systems.
With a Master's degree from a clinical nurse specialist program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing Accreditation Commission (NLNAC), you will have the expertise to influence outcomes and provide exceptional patient care.
As a CNS, you will work in a specialty area, teaching, mentoring, consulting, researching, managing, and improving healthcare systems. You will also have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and community health organizations.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
