Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated professional to work as a Learning and Development Specialist in the education sector.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have experience in working within all school settings and possess strong communication skills, enabling them to collaborate effectively with parents, general education teachers, and other specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with colleagues.
  • Develop and use specialized teaching materials and strategies to support student learning.
  • Regularly assess and monitor student performance and progress toward IEP goals.
  • Use various assessment tools and techniques to evaluate student learning.
  • Teach academic and life skills using specialized instructional methods.
  • Provide one-on-one or small-group instruction to support individual learning needs.
  • Implement and manage behavioral interventions and strategies.
  • Work closely with speech therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other specialists to support student development.
  • Maintain detailed records of student progress, IEPs, and any incidents or concerns.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Ability to work amiably with colleagues, students, and their families.
  • Compensation Rate range $30.00+/hr.
  • Experience in working within all school settings.
