About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning Support Specialist to join our team at Delta-T Group Inc. in Virginia, USA.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and adolescents with diverse learning needs and abilities. As a Learning Support Specialist, you will be responsible for collaborating with teachers, parents, and other specialists to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to the unique needs of each student.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with educational teams to create and implement IEPs that meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of students with disabilities.
- Developing and implementing specialized teaching materials and strategies to support student learning and progress.
- Assessing and monitoring student performance and progress towards IEP goals, using a range of assessment tools and techniques.
- Providing one-on-one or small-group instruction to support individual learning needs, utilizing evidence-based instructional methods and materials.
- Implementing and managing behavioral interventions and strategies to promote positive student behavior and social skills.
In addition to your expertise in special education, we are looking for someone who is able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, communicate clearly with colleagues and families, and maintain accurate records of student progress and IEPs.
