About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety and Environmental Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, customers, and the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective health, safety, and environmental strategies to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety procedures and protocols.
  • Provide training and development programs to ensure employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs safely and efficiently.
  • Manage and maintain safety records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans to ensure a safe and effective response to incidents.
  • Work with senior leadership to develop and implement organizational-wide safety initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in health, safety, and environmental management.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in a safety and environmental management role.
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
