This position is for a Senior RF Engineer as part of the RF Front End and Power Design center within the Integrated Engineering organization.
Key Responsibilities- Research, design, and development of RF circuits, including Power Amplifiers used in Radar Applications operating at UHF, L, S, C, and X-Band.
- Work alongside other Senior Engineers and Subject Matter Experts and across various programs to design Receiver/Exciter circuits and subsystems.
- Lead junior RF engineers through mentoring and technical guidance.
- Conduct trade studies, perform dynamic analyses, interface with vendors, test transmitter, power, and analog circuitry.
- Provide leadership experience with RF engineers and engineers of other disciplines including mechanical, systems, and software.
- Develop technical solutions to complex problems, support failure analysis, Material Review Board processing, discrepancy documentation, resolution, and troubleshooting.
- Experienced in EMI and EMC testing and failure mitigation.
- Experienced with RF analysis tools.
- Experience with Transmit/Receive Module.
- Knowledge of Analog Circuit design, and analysis.
- Schematic Capture and Layout tools.
- Experience with Lab Equipment including oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Digital Volt Meters, Vector Network Analyzers, etc.
- Ability to obtain and hold a DOD Security clearance.
- Emerging subject matter expert in RF design.
- Experience with tool, HFSS, CST Microwave Studio.
